Antoine has been sailing since 1974
Until 1980, he has sailed around the world, most of the time solo, on board Om, whose characteristics follow:

Steel schooner, 47 ft long; weighing loaded 22 metric tons, with lifting keel (4 tons of lead) Draft with keel down 11 ft; with keel up 3 ft.

Designed by Michel Joubert, following a request by Jerôme Poncet and Gérard Janichon, of Damien fame. Built by META shipyard, in Tarare (Rhone) France, Meta also built Famous french sailor Bernard Moitessier's boat, Joshua.
